'Peregrine', Wood Engraving, 1947/2009 by Charles Tunnicliffe

CONDITION

A wood engraving from the C. F. Tunnicliffe Memorial Collection published in a limited edition of 100 in April 2009. The engravings have been printed from Tunnicliffe's original blocks by Nicolas McDowall on acid-free 175gsm Zerkhall paper with the kind permission of the Tunnicliffe Estate. The print is numbered in pencil within the publisher’s blindstamp lower left.

DESCRIPTION

This is a beautiful and exquisitely detailed original limited-edition print taken from the original wood engraving – see condition notes above.

The wood engravings have been hinge mounted and enclosed in a conservation standard glacier white 3.5mm extra thick mount board with a further black slip mount to provide a high quality frame ready presentation of the print. With a thick kraft paper lined backing board it is ready for framing as required.

The attached photos show the detail of the print, how it looks mounted and photos of prints from the same series framed and displayed so you can see how these might fit in with your own interior decor. We run a fully equipped framing studio so all the materials and preparation are of a professional standard. We are happy to consider any special requirements you may have including multiples, sets etc.
