DESCRIPTION

This is an antique illustration by Isabel Adams printed in the 1920’s, and is part of a series of illustrations covering wild flowers of the British Isles. Each plate is printed by the chromolithograph method and beautifully illustrated and coloured. These were originally published in a two volume book as tipped in plates with a tissue cover protection. They have been specially curated to ensure no foxing or rubbing of any kind. This plate details crab apple, rose hip and other plants from this genus with various illustrations of fruit, flowers etc

The illustrations have been hinge mounted and enclosed in a conservation standard daler extra thick mount board with thick kraft paper lined backing board and it is ready for framing as required The photos show the detail of the print, how it looks mounted and several photos of prints framed and displayed so you can see how these might fit in with your own interior decor. We run a fully equipped framing studio so all the materials and preparation is of a professional standard. We are happy to consider any special requirements you may have including multiples, sets etc.

Please feel free to browse the multiple listings of these and other prints, each one highly individual and mounted and presented to enhance your home. These also make terrific gifts and are unique and original. I am happy to combine postage on multiple items. There are about 100 prints in this series covering native wild flowers - if you are looking for a particular flower please just ask.
